Holmes humidifiers add moisture to indoor air, thereby decreasing the susceptibility to illness and common colds that breathing dry air can cause. This HWF72/HWF75 replacement filter features an antimicrobial barrier by Microban that inhibits mold, mildew, and bacteria growth inside the humidifier. The stretchy, circular filter measures 7-3/4 inches wide by 32 inches in diameter, and fits Holmes console models HM3500, HM3600, HM3640, and HM3650. Replacement for Holmes "D" filter I have had a horrible time trying to locate the Holmes D filter after purchasing the HUMIDIFIER COOL MIST CONSOLE. Thank goodness for Amazon. This is the exact replacement filter for the Holmes model number 3655U. The price is a little higher than I expected but since I can not find them any place else and I can get the filter shipped for free with Prime, I don't mind paying a little bit more. Good Value I purchased this item through Amazon for $12 which is much cheaper than the $20 asked for in most stores. Buy it here. Seriously, these are no better then any of the others, however I couldn't find them in the story anywhere the last few months of the winter. Buy them here, you may not be able to find them elsewhere.
